OUR POLICY ON RETURNS AND REFUNDS
THE PURPOSE OF THIS NOTICE
As a wine merchant of long standing, serving customers in many countries, we set forth here the terms upon which we accept returned goods and make refunds.
UPON WHAT TERMS WE ACCEPT RETURNS
We accept returns only when the wine or spirit is sent back in proper condition, complete in all its parts, and with its original packaging and any accompanying materials, where these are relevant.
WITHIN WHAT TIME YOU MUST APPLY
Applications for return must be made within a reasonable time after you have received your order. Any specific time limits will be made known to you at the time of purchase.
WHAT WE CANNOT TAKE BACK
We are generally unable to accept: bottles bearing personalised labels or engraving, certain sealed products once the seal has been broken, and digital content after you have accessed it.
WHERE DAMAGE IS NOT OF OUR DELIVERY
Should the item show damage that did not arise from the original carriage, we shall consider the matter fairly and propose a remedy according to our rules and the circumstances.
HOW TO MAKE YOUR APPLICATION
From your account with us, choose the order in question, select the item you wish to return, and follow the steps shown upon the screen.
OUR EXAMINATION UPON RECEIPT
When the return reaches us, we examine it with care. Our acceptance depends upon its state, its completeness, and its conformity to the terms we have set out.
HOW WE MAKE REFUND
Once we have approved the return, we order the refund to be made by the same means by which you paid, unless the law of your country requires otherwise.
HOW LONG YOU MUST WAIT
We set the refund in motion upon approval. The time it takes to reach your account is in the hands of your bank or card provider.
WHETHER WE MAY EXCHANGE
Where our stock allows, we may offer you an exchange in place of a refund, should you wish it.
YOUR RIGHTS UNDER THE LAW
Nothing in this policy diminishes your statutory rights, including those that concern the quality and fitness of the goods we sell.
WHERE LOCAL LAW PREVAILS
If the law of your country lays down mandatory terms that differ from ours, those terms shall stand in place of ours.
